Glen and I were driving to our home in Tiny Beaches near Midland when Glen began to speak in a manner that made absolutely no sense. After pulling over and calling the ambulance, life as we knew it ended.
After a series of tests, Glen was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor and was taken to Toronto and underwent an operation to remove the Tumor. We were then told the devastating news that he has Stage Four Cancer and that it was Terminal. We will be forever grateful to the incredible Doctors who have given Glen the most precious gift imaginable - time! The Doctors advised Glen to undergo radiation and chemotherapy right away. So we packed our bags and have been staying at a Lodge for the past six weeks.
The Lodge is close to the Hospital in Toronto which is necessary for Glen to undergo the necessary Treatments on a daily basis. The strain of everything including being displaced has caused us to feel overwhelmed at times. We have also incurred a lot of expenses.
We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who has helped us in many ways during this very difficult time. You have kept us going!
If anyone would like to help us financially to assist with the burden of costs associated with Glen's unexpected and shocking diagnosis, we would greatly appreciate anything you are able to contribute. No amount is too small and we are also happy to,just have your prayers.
Thank you from the bottom of our Hearts for your kindness!
May God bless you,
Glen and Kim
