Anna "Mojica" Alvarez of Gary/East Chicago/Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 6th, 2025. Anna has been battling cancer for a little over 4 years. We, the family, have set up a GoFundMe to help with any funeral services. Her son has been caring for both his parents. His dad has Alzheimer/Dementia and, of course, his mom with cancer. He's been trying his best over the years to take them to doctor's appointments and hospital visits. Once his mom became hospitalized, it has been a tough journey to care for both parents.
