Jamies funeral

Hi Its Courtney ‘Jamies Niece’,
Cant believe I'm even writing this.
Jamie sadly passed away two weeks after we found he had an aggressive rare terminal lung cancer, that had spread to many organs including his brain, also his bones and spine. Its rare and he probably wouldn’t of had much of a chance diagnosed earlier, once it started spreading as it wouldn’t stop.
He thought he had a chest infection or liver infection not all that. He also had pneumonia on top.
Two weeks and an Uncle, Brother, Father, Friend has gone.
Its hard to ask for help, especially during a cost of living crisis. But if we would ideally like him to go not with the very minimum we will need a little help. He shouldn’t with the bare minimum and would hate to burden his family. I had a look, both the uk average costs and were likely to use breakspear but if anyones had to organise a funeral theres many things involved. Its not cheap.
He didnt have much that we can sell no ‘estate’ and the only thing significant would be the van, and that should be for the kids he leaves behind. If it comes to it it'll have to come from that but hopefully it wont.
My uncle helped many people, in various ways for various reasons throughout the years.
His heart was generous. People like that shouldn’t have to have the bare minimum and not much of a wake I know many of you might/will want to come, and rightly so he'd love that. Its just such a shock. I don't even like asking.
I totally understand its hard financially right now. But, we cant even get our heads around the diagnosis’ let anon his loss and now struggling ourselves needing to organise this, but if we don’t swallow our pride and not ask, the kids and the youngest being just turned 17, wont have much from the van sale. Anything helps.
Thank you so much. ❤️
