Hi everyone! Our sweet 3 year old kitty, Loki, has been suffering with urinary issues since February of this year. Since then, he has been admitted to the kitty ICU twice for complete urinary obstructions. Treatment includes catheterization, blood work, medications to lower buildup of toxins, etc. Since he has had two complete obstructions in one month, the next course of action is a surgery called a PU. Basically, the procedure will widen and shorten his urethra to decrease risk of more obstructions, ultimately turning him into a girl cat. Without this procedure, if he obstructs again, he may need to be put down.

His timing was great happening four days after our wedding 5/24. All of our savings have gone into the wedding, so his procedure will be very hard to pay for.
