As many of you know, Dirk initially went in for what was expected to be a routine medical procedure.

A procedure that is performed daily across our healthcare system has become a nightmare for our colleague, our brother, and our friend.

It has now been nine months, and Dirk remains on medical leave, still battling through pain and uncertainty.

Despite his efforts, answers and relief have yet to come.
