True Life Academy

Hello, this is Jennifer Trevorrow and Nicole Lambert. We are the co-founders of True Life Academy. At True Life Academy, we will provide instruction for independent daily living skills and community activities that will facilitate independence. Specialized life skills and vocational training will be provided for individuals by our trained staff.

We are hoping to launch the opening of True Life Academy by late 2023 this will bring an opportunity for special needs individuals a chance to grow, learn in a safe and fun environment through their own community. That is why we are asking for your help. We need your support to get True Life Academy up and running.

We plan on opening our facility in phases. Our first phase will be our community space open Monday through Friday. Specialized life skills and vocational training will be provided for individuals by our trained staff.

Phase two will include a comprehensive housing and supportive living community that will consist of small apartment type units for each resident as well as a separate indoor and outdoor community space. We provide 24/7 care with instruction for independent daily living skills and community activities that will facilitate independence, freedom, and self-determination.

Phase three will include outdoor facilities, such as fenced in areas for athletic fields, horticulture, outdoor pavilion, and farming opportunities.

Would you consider donating? Any amount will help! Donations will be used in multiple areas: startup cost is an estimation of $50,000 for building space, furnishing the building and materials needed for learning, job development and recreational activities.
