Hi everyone,

I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of a family who is facing an incredibly frightening and unexpected moment right now. Cain is currently undergoing emergency surgery to have his appendix removed, and he will need a few weeks away from work afterward to recover safely.

Cain is the sole provider for his family of four, including two young children who depend on him every single day. His job is physically demanding, which means he will be unable to work during his recovery. The sudden reality of losing their only source of income is overwhelming, especially while they wait, pray, and focus on Cain’s health.

Right now, this family is trying to stay strong—supporting one another, comforting their children, and holding onto hope during an incredibly emotional and uncertain time. At the same time, the weight of everyday expenses like rent, groceries, and utilities continues, even as their world feels paused.

This fundraiser was created to help ease some of that burden so they can focus on what matters most: Cain’s recovery and their children’s well-being. Any donation, share, prayer, or kind thought will help lift some of the fear and pressure they are carrying in this moment.
