It has been a lifelong dream of mine to be a chef. I was lucky enough to be raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and exposed to the abundance of local produce and seafood at an early age. My mother was a professional cook, and my father a commercial fisherman.
My culinary path has been a long and winding road. I have been a short order breakfast cook as well as a baker for one of Seattle's local coffee houses. I've worked for world renowned chef, and James Beard Award winner, Maria Hines and catered events for hundreds of people. Now my journey will take an exciting new turn; I will travel to Bolognia, Italy to study with some of the regions master chefs.
This is where I need your help; I need to raise at least $10,000 to make it possible. Airline tickets, housing and tuition are incredibly expensive. I am amazed and filled with gratitude for the contributions of friends, and strangers alike, who have already given from their hearts.
