We are graduate year filmmakers trying to raise money to create our Graduate year short film, which with the help of you will be a bittersweet story and our ticket into the industry and film festivals for once we graduate!

The film is a drama (with some comedy here and there) that tells the story of an awkward little girl as she waits bored and alone at the back of a social club for her father to finish with his night and take her home. Then soon enough she starts to need the bathroom, but she’s too awkward to go.

The concept of waiting around bored as a kid for your parents, especially at the back of the pub or social club, is a story that we thought everyone has experienced in some way or another and needed to be told on screen.

We knew it would make a precious and impactful story, and with the additional element of the girl, Aurora, needing the bathroom, the film is more than just a memory we have: it’s a sweet and poignant look at those small steps we take into independence as a child.

Where does the money go? To achieve this wanted relatability in the film, we’ll need a good budget to be able to hire out and shoot in a real social club…to cast a believable child actor and the team they legally come with to assure they are the happiest they can be on set… and then different types of equipment and catering for the crew to keep them happy too!
