Support for Mom's Medical Journey

My sister and I are hoping to find some support from our community for our mom (Lisa). Right now, she is facing some medical and financial challenges.

Our mom fell down the stairs in 2020, which resulted in several bone fractures and an elbow replacement.

Recently, she got another fracture on the already fragile elbow, causing her pain and making daily life activities difficult. She lives in TX but needs to fly to MN, where her original surgery was done at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, on June 28th so the doctor can address its current state. Consequently, she will have to take a month off of work to travel to MN for more imaging, aspiration and then surgery which is scheduled for July 10th. As well as recovery time once she is home. She does not currently have a car to get to appointments or work, so she does a lot of walking and relies on others for rides which also puts more of a financial burden on her.
