UPDATE! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Unfortunately we did not make it to the deadline but I've been told if we can pay before this goes to court we will still be able to stay in our home

I have reached out to multiple churches and organizations with little luck. We have received a pledge of $300 from 1 organization to put towards the total amount due. Unfortunately once the file is sent to attorney's we will start accruing daily fees for that. However, I am hopeful!! Between fundraising and my small checks coming in that we will be able to get this covered before too much longer. Please continue to share, every donation is appreciated

I'm desperate!!!

We are a week away from the next step in the eviction process and I am so desperate for help!

In Feb of 2024, I lost my full-time job and went from working 40 hours a week to 13 hours. In March, due to safety and well-being issues, we had to move out of our apartment to a different area, which took the majority of any money we had saved up. We were struggling but trying our best to stay afloat.

At the end of September, my husband was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease as well as scoliosis and was placed on medical leave. His condition is affecting his back, legs, and ankles, so it's almost physically impossible for him to work at this time. He was able to receive medical pay for 2 months but is no longer bringing in that income.

Due to a very unfortunate chain of events, our financial issues continued to pile up no matter what we tried to do. We just haven't been able to catch up.

We were served a notice to pay or vacate, and I immediately went for help. It has now been 3 weeks, and we still don't have any answers on whether or not we will be able to receive any sort of assistance for our problem. We now have 6 days to come up with all the money owed for rent, or they send our file to the attorneys and charge us another $1200.

I started a new job yesterday, but unfortunately, the first paycheck won't come until after everything's due and won't even come close to what is owed.

This is my last resort. I am desperate, we have 5 kids and can't be homeless
