We’re reaching out with something close to our hearts.

On the 27th of June Myself, Louise, Cindy, and Enni will be shaving our heads to support Mental health and to raise money for the R U OK? foundation. We are inviting you to come and watch if you wish. If any of our families would like to shave their head in support of this fantastic cause, we welcome you to join!

Mental health affects so many people- and yet it’s surrounded by stigma and often underfunded. That’s why we at KingKids have decided to raise funds to support mental health initiatives that provide real help to those who need it the most. Whether it’s to access to therapy, crisis support, or educational programs, your donation big or small can help someone find hope and healing. We would be grateful if you could support our effort by donating or simply by sharing this message to spread awareness. Thank you so much for being part of this with us. R U OK? is a national suicide prevention charity and registered public health promotion that encourages people to stay connected and have conversations that can help others through difficult times.

Their work focuses on building the motivation, confidence and skills of the help-giver – the person who can have a meaningful conversation with someone who is struggling with life.

R U OK? contributes to suicide prevention efforts by encouraging people to invest more time in their personal relationships and building the capacity of informal support networks – friends, family and colleagues - to be alert to those around them, have a conversation if they identify signs of distress or difficulty and connect someone to appropriate support, long before they're in crisis.
