Help the Schultz Family

Donation protected
In June of 2021, Kelsey and Justin Schultz noticed bruising on their sweet daughter (6 years old), Brenna. (Brenna is not pictured as they have chose to protect her privacy). Little did they know the battle they had ahead of them. It had been discovered that Brenna had low platelets and hemoglobin. She was admitted to the Children’s hospital almost immediately where she underwent blood and platelet transfusions, as well as a bone marrow biopsy. From July-November Brenna underwent multiple transfusions, hospital stays, tests, and infections. Brenna was diagnosed with Aplasmic Anemia.

She has now started a long journey of a bone marrow transplant at the Mayo Clinic, where Kelsey will be staying with her away from their family and home for 4 months, “100 days”. Brenna will start this part of her journey with chemo to wipe out her bone marrow. Brenna will likely feel very ill and lose her hair during this treatment. There is a lot more complicated procedures, isolation, and appointments in between, but just know this is something nobody (especially a young child) should have to endure. Justin is currently home working and taking care of their two boys while Brenna and Kelsey are gone for treatment. Justin and Kelsey recently moved to the United States, so there is medical bills from these treatments. Thankfully, many have been covered. However, financial strain is a burden they are now carrying as part of this journey. We would like to raise money for the Schultz family to relieve the burden of financial stress during this un-imaginable time.

Justin served faithfully at the Wetaskiwin Youth for Christ as a full time leader in the community for 7 years. He helped other’s children daily as his passion and his calling, so we would like to find a way to bless Justin and his children in return ❤️

If you can’t help financially, please remember them in your prayers, or send them a word of encouragement. Those are all equally important! Thank you.
