Philip Valente Funeral Service Fund
Donation protected
My name is Jennifer Valente, and I am raising money for the expenses of my father's funeral services.
Philip Valente was the most fun-loving, silly, and whole-hearted man anyone had the pleasure of meeting. From his crazy, out-of-this-world jokes, to his total devotion to my mom and I, he was truly one in a million. My dad had a love for food and cooking, as he was a chef for most of his life. Aside from being in the kitchen, you could also find him at Guys and Dolls in Belleville practicing for his pool league. He was a pro, and he was so proud of his pool skills. My mom would sometimes go with him just to watch him practice, and she loved every minute of it. You could always find him at the corner store playing his lottery tickets or in the parking lot scratching off his rub-offs. Always smiling, always hilarious, and always the very first love of my life.
As I am an only child, my mom and I are alone in trying to raise enough money to send my dad out with a "big bang", which we knew he would have wanted. All the money raised will go to the wake and funeral expenses for my dad. I am so thankful for all of the people around us that have made this a little bit easier for us...we appreciate it all.
Any amount donated is greatly appreciated.
The services for my dad will be held at O'Boyle Funeral Home- 309 Broad Street in Bloomfield, NJ on Monday, January 11th from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
