Hi,

My name is Louise and I am fundraising for my niece Alyssa. She is not quite 30 years old and has just been diagnosed with an aneurysm and Follicular Lymphoma. Oh, and two broken ribs which helped lead to the diagnosis.

Alyssa’s short term disability is paying her next to nothing. Also, as a young person, she does not have prescription coverage.

She is a hard working young lady who has worked 2 to 3 jobs at a time to make ends meet.

Chemotherapy will start soon and we know that will make it harder yet. Both physically and financially.

They have given her a return to work date of October 26. Her disability payments (such as they are) end September 26. I am trying to raise enough money to pay her rent, car insurance and to help with groceries until she can return to work.

I am hoping that some financial help will take some stress away from her to allow Alyssa to concentrate on self care and healing.
