Help us with homegoing services for Tramon Thomas
Donation protected
At the loving age of 31, Tramon was taken from us through senseless gun violence while he was trying to make a living. He was young, brimming with strength, courage, wisdom and always looking to help anyone in need but mostly he will be known for his kind and gentle heart. He’s our “Gentle Giant”.
Tramon became a new father last July and was an excited and proud father determined to be instrumental in his daughter's life. He took her to her doctor's appointments, cooked her nutritious meals from scratch, had a night-time bath routine and did her hair. He was intent on being the overall "All-Star" that she could ever need.
Tramon was working DoorDash so he could be present with his daughter and help his grandmother with her daily living needs through her terminal illness. As a physical trainer, he helped his grandmother through her treatments, with her mobility issues, appointments, cleaning, cooking, washing, driving, grocery shopping and anything else she needed.
Tramon was also the glue for his siblings. He ensured everyone had whatever they needed and remained close.
With his busy life, he needed the flexibility that working for DoorDash offered. We feel there is a sense of negligence from DoorDash and they lack the proper safeguards for its drivers. No one’s life should be taken while they’re trying to make a living.
Unfortunately, words cannot express how devastated our family is by this shocking event. On November 11th @ approx. 3am he received his wings helping his brother. As this was too early and unexpected, we were unable to prepare financially for this home going. We greatly appreciate whatever you can find in your heart. Donations will go towards his home going. Please contact the immediate family for further means of donating.
