Hi, My name is Carla. My husband Will is currently admitted into Medical City Plano. He was first admitted into ICU. He was in that unit for 3 days. He is now in the PCU which is a step down from ICU. On Sunday November 20th of this year, my husband suffered a Stroke. He has lost function of his right side along with total numbness. The Hemorrhage in his brain has stopped thankfully however his blood pressure continues to spike . We are praying that his medical team will find the right medications to prevent another stroke. So far all medications used have failed. They are working on finding the cause of the high blood pressure. He has a very long road ahead of him unfortunately. The Doctors do not know if he will regain function, as only time will tell. He will eventually be transferred to an Inpatient Rehabilitation Center for intensive physical therapy. His full recovery is our prayer. The medical expenses, traveling and continued living expenses are just more than we can handle at the moment even with Insurance and myself working. What we need is a miracle but anything even the smallest amount would be more appreciated than you will ever know. Anything received will go directly to medical equipment he will need, medical bills, medical co-pays, traveling expenses, home upgrades to accommodate his disability.
