With great sadness, we announce the passing of an angel - a 12-yr old rising star, a beloved son to a single mom, a caring brother to a little sister, a loyal friend to many, and an extraordinary intelligent student; Rakshay Prasad is no more with us. Rakshay suddenly left us, taking his own life on 05/27/22 to start his final journey...

My name is Dipti Tonda, and Rakshay was my daughter's dear friend and classmate at Edna Batey Elementary school in Elk Grove, CA. We were fortunate to have known Rakshay for eight years, spending many playdates and birthdays together. I come to you with a heavy heart to ask for contributions to help pay for funeral expenses and time away from work to allow the mom to grieve her tremendous loss. She must carry on taking care of a year old sister of Rakshay.
