This is very unlike me to ask for help with something, but since its for Puzzles- I have to.

A few years ago, Puzzles had two Mast Cell tumors removed and now has several more mast cell tumors on her body, one of which has gotten extremely large on her back leg. Mast cell tumors are cancerous tumors that grow smaller and larger in size and this particular one has stayed large and continues to grow.

I have tried my best through herbal and traditional medicine to try and reduce the size but have not been successful.

Given its size, Puzzles has not been walking and running in the yard like she normally would and we havent been able to take walks which is one of her favorite things!

The mass pulls on her skin and I can only assume that its extremely uncomfortable since it hangs off her hind leg.

I have come to the decision to have this particular mass removed, I believe this will give her some relief to enjoy her golden years.

Although, this will not cure her of Mast Cells, she will be able to move more freely. The decision to have this surgery has not been easy and it still isnt.

As much as I hate to admit, my girl is getting older and surgery is always risky, even if she was younger.

Today her vet quoted me at $3000 for her surgery as a base price ,after the $500 of blood work that was paid today. Depending on a few factors such as how much anesthesia she may need, this could go up.

Anyone who knows Puzzles, knows she loves to walk and run around the yard whether thats to catch a ball or squirrel...this will help her get back to that. This is a hefty price and I can use some help. If you ever met Puzz you know shes the best girl and my entire world, I only want what is best for her and I believe this is it.
