After being missing for nearly a week, Carter has finally made it home. Sadly, we had almost come to the heartbreaking conclusion that he may never return. At 5am, Carter came back in a terrible state, and Claire rushed him straight to the vets.

The vets believe Carter may have been caught in a snare trap, possibly in the woods near his home and had managed to escape after days of suffering! As a result, he has suffered a broken pelvis and may even lose his leg.

Anyone who knows my neighbour and friend Claire will know how kind, caring, and selfless she is. She is always the first to help others in any situation, no matter what. As a single mum on a limited income, the unexpected veterinary costs are going to place a huge financial strain on her, especially as the vets unfortunately do not offer payment plans and its looking at £1000 possible more

So, with my begging bowl out, I’m asking if anyone is able to help in any way possible to support Claire and help give Carter the best chance of recovery, even if its a £1 it will mean so much to claite & her family so he can return home and continue living a happy life surrounded by the people who love him.
