Hi everyone,

On Sunday the 3rd of May, I’ll be running the Morecambe Half Marathon. I’m doing this to raise money for Parkinson’s disease, a cause that is very close to my heart.

Three years ago, my nan was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, and since then it has had a huge impact on her life and our family. Growing up, my nan always looked after me and played a big part in helping me become the person I am today. Running this half marathon is my way of doing something meaningful for her.

Completing a half marathon has always been on my bucket list, and being able to do it while raising money for such an important cause makes it even more special. I hope the funds raised can help support research and services so that people living with Parkinson’s don’t have to suffer as much in the future.
