Turkey Earthquake

In Turkey, the first deadly earthquake struck while people were inside their homes, asleep in their beds, with no warning signs. More than 54,000 buildings, including hospitals and schools, have been destroyed or damaged. People have been left without shelter in freezing winter conditions.

Urgent aid is still required!!! Money for healthcare, shelter for those who have lost their homes, heating in safe spaces, blankets, warm clothes, and ensuring people have food and clean water is still needed!

CABFast2023 - On the 8th day of Ramadhan, staff at City Academy, Bristol are planning to fast on Thursday 30th March 2023 to help raise money for this cause. Over 40 members of staff have committed not to consume any food or drink for over 14 hours to raise awareness and money for this disaster in Turkey.
