Hi, my name is Stephanie, and my daughter is Alexandra Domark. Alexandra has been battling an undiagnosed disease that is causing her daily fatigue and excruciating pain for 3 years. It all began in July of 2020 with localized lesions on her skin. By 2021 the lesions spread all over her body. These lesions would close and then reopen. Alexandra has been to countless doctors which include UCSD, Dermatologist’s, Rheumatologist’s, Gynecologist’s, Gastroenterologist, Hematologist and Infectious Disease. Alexandra has had 4 biopsy’s and endless blood tests that all came back negative. On top of her health issues her only child Joshua (10 years old) passed away unexpectedly in January 2022 from Sepsis. In September 2022 Alexandra was hospitalized for 1 week with Cdiff which is a severe bacterial infection in the intestines, which is life threatening. This was the result of doctors prescribing antibiotics. Then In December 2022 her lesions suddenly began bleeding which lead to a dangerously low blood platelet count. She was hospitalized for 2 days to receive blood platelet transfusions. After 3 years of endless doctor appointments with no sign of improvement or diagnosis her doctor suggested Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Mayo Clinic has denied her medical insurance.
Alexandra has been unable to work for 2 years due to her painful condition. She wants to go back to school to finish her Nursing degree.
We thank you in advance and greatly appreciate any financial contributions to help Alexandra get diagnosed.
