Start up my business!

For those of you that do not know me, I started working with my cousin, Alec, 3 years ago. I badly needed a job, and his mom suggested that I work with him as his job coach. I was nervous because I had never worked with anyone that had autism or any disability for that matter. Turns out it was the best thing I could have done! I have learned so much from him and all the other autistic individuals I have worked with, and there is nothing else I would rather do for a living! However, with that being said, my mental health has been suffering a lot over the past year and a half due to the company I was working for. I thought about what I should do for months. I had a few options, and I finally thought......what would Alec do? I mean, he is the reason I am where I am today. That is how What Would Alec Do, LLC started! I am now working for myself as a Job Developer and Job Coach for individuals with disabilities. I have a lot of people who support me, and I am so grateful for that! I have to be honest though, I am a single mom who is using every last bit of her savings to start this business and make sure I can pay my 2 employees (who are amazing by the way). I have a lot of goals I would like to reach in the next couple years and it would be really amazing if I could start off on the right foot. I do not have a website or a facebook page yet, as this is very new, but those will be coming soon. Being able to continue my passion for helping people find and maintain meaningful employment means so much to me. I appreciate anything you can give, even if it is just advice or words of encouragement! Thank you for taking the time to read this, I appreciate it greatly!
