Funeral Expenses for Aaron Keith Pitman

Hello, my name is Ashley Ryan and I am Aaron (Keith) and Sarah Pitman’s daughter. This campaign is to help my mom with all of the costs she has had to endure over the last several months. Keith fought a tough battle especially over the last month and a half. Unfortunately due to the condition of his heart he was unable to heal the way we had hoped. Here is a breakdown of possible costs…

Mom has had to use a lot of their savings while being in Indianapolis. My mom will be losing income from my dad’s pension as he took an early retirement (due to his health) resulting in not being able to leave any source of income for my mom. Due to his health several years ago, he was ineligible to have life insurance which leaves mom in an even bigger financial hurdle. While she does receive social security at a smaller amount, it will take some time for her to receive any spouse benefits. Mom is currently unable to work due to her own health and now she is grieving her husband of 45 years. 

She will need to pay for any funeral costs and plan future moving arrangements. Mom is more than welcome to live with me or my brother but in reality with her grieving her husband she is going to need her own space. We have young kids who don’t completely understand what is happening and that could be very overstimulating for her. We need to be available mentally and emotionally for her. My brother and I are helping her however we can financially while still trying to keep our families afloat as well.
