Hi everyone!

Late last night, we were at Karen's house and heard a crying in the distance. We rescued a tiny stray kitten who was trapped in a tree and hanging by a severely severed arm. After safely getting him down, we rushed him to the emergency vet. He spent the night last night in Karen’s bathtub, safe and warm.

This brave little fighter, now named Mason Oak, is less than eight weeks old. He’s very beat up and covered in dirt and fleas, and his road to recovery will be long—but despite everything, he’s incredibly sweet and affectionate.

We’re raising funds to cover the cost of his veterinary care and temporary fostering while we search for his perfect forever home. Every dollar goes directly toward saving Mason’s life and giving him the second chance he deserves.

Update: Surgery is scheduled for amputation of his arm tomorrow morning. We are so incredibly grateful for everyone's donations and for the generosity of the community we are surrounded by. We are also appreciative of the vets who have made this possible.
