Donations for Funeral Expenses

Dearest friends,

 

It is with a heavy heart to let you know that Mr. Gheorhe Racovita left this world suddenly on September 14th, 2021, at age 60. Gheorghe was a bright spark in this world and will be deeply missed. He was a caring husband, father of three, grandfather, and friend, a great Romanian and Canadian citizen, and an impressive active community member.

 

He touched the lives of so many and it’s our turn to give back to his family in their time of need. As friends, we are helping the family by raising money to cover the costs of the funeral and memorial services, as this passing was completely unexpected. Please consider donating if you are able to do so. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time.

 

The family announced that the funeral service will be held Sunday, Sept.  26th, 2021, at 3.30 pm at Serbian Orthodox Church, 16025 243 Avenue East, Foothills, AB, T1S 4C3.
