Let’s Help The Hill Family

We’re raising funds to help a kind and hardworking man in Alabama who has fallen into hard times — and who now needs a community behind him.

His wife, a beautiful woman full of life and love, suffered severe brain damage and now experiences silent seizures daily. After a long rehabilitation, she’s preparing to come home — but the home she’s returning to is not safe for her recovery.

Over time, overwhelming circumstances led to conditions inside the home that are unsanitary and unsafe — not just for his wife, but also for his young grandchildren who come to visit. The home needs major cleanup and removal of large furniture and damaged items to allow for safe movement, prevent infection risks, and create a stable, healthy environment.

Every dollar raised through this fundraiser will go directly toward:

• Removing unsafe, unsalvageable furniture and debris

• Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing the home

• Creating a safe, accessible space for his wife’s daily needs — and for the grandchildren who come to visit

He never asked for charity — he simply reached out for basic help.

We saw firsthand how much love, pride, and quiet strength this man carries. We saw how much he’s trying to hold onto hope.

Whether or not we reach our fundraising goal — or even if no money is raised at all — we will still be moving forward with helping this family. If we exceed our goal, all funds with go towards increasing quality of life. In example: needed repairs, handicap accessible furniture, etc.
