Medical for Brooke A

On August 27th, my good friend Brooke A was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Diffuse B-Cell Lymphoma. Brooke is a high school English as a Second Language teacher. She was preparing for the school year when she got the diagnosis and learned that she needs to begin further tests and treatment immediately. Doctors told her she will need to be off work for 6 months, at the  least.

Brooke’s insurance was up for re-enrollment Sept 1st, starting over her deductible. Teaching is her only source of income, without it her insurance premiums through Cobra will be astronomical. On top of the medical cost, she still has a mortgage and monthly bills coming in. 

I'm asking for you to lift my friend in prayer.  God, please give Brooke peace and a knowing of Your presence - that she is not alone. God please sustain her spirit and help her find resilience through these tough times. Lord please cover her path ahead with Your grace and light. We know Your light is brightest in the darkest times.

Brooke has always been an independent woman, but this temporary obstacle is too much. She graciously accepted my offer of creating a GoFundMe site.  Please help me lessen her financial stress so she can focus on her health. If you are able please join me with a small donation and a prayer.
