Making Blankets for the Homeless

Hi! Our names are Maggie and Camille and we currently attend Divine Savior Holy Angels High School. As Seniors, we normally participate in a two-week service immersion called "Vocare." However, because of Covid-19, this has become unrealistic. Instead, we have decided to create our own service project: making blankets for the homeless. As the months grow colder, blankets, toiletries, and canned food items become more necessary but less available for those in dire situations. This Gofundme is to pay for the supplies we need to create blankets. Since we will only be paying for the raw materials needed for the blankets, we will be eliminating the majority of the costs and only need to buy fleece material, approximately $8.00 for two 48" sides of a blanket. We appreciate anything you can give that will help us to make this a reality!
