Let me first just say that I would so much rather be helping others than be the one to ask for help but sadly, here I am in need of all the positive thoughts & prayers and love & support that I can get. 

I started off the year with some knee pain.  Eventually, it got to the point where I have to use crutches to get around.  The MRI showed a tumor and the biopsy indicated lymphoma.  Last week I went in for a PET scan and the results are that I have a rare, aggressive form of
lymphoma called, Double Hit, (2 types).  Doctor said that I have a 50% chance of being cured but I need to get started on my chemo right away.  It will consist of 5 days of chemo in the hospital and 3 wks off at home, for 18 wks and then they will reevaluate.

I am currently unable to work.  I am applying for disability but it will take at least 3-6 mths to receive.  I realize that not everyone will be able to give and I completely understand, but positive thoughts and prayers are free and I truly believe in their power.  I am a bit scared but I am not giving up!  There is a sign on my bedroom wall that states, "With God, all things are possible."
