Fighting Cancer

Was diagnosed with CML in 2013. It has been fairly managed with Oral Chemotherapy. Unfortunately the Oral Chemo is no longer working. This Leukemia has mutated into Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia which is a more aggressive cancer. Started IV Chemo they are also doing Intrathecal Chemotherapy to prevent this from spreading to the brain. Needing a Stem Cell Transplant. We still have three children living at home. Will be in the hospital for about 6 weeks this time. Unless anything changes. Then traveling the 200+ miles to appointments. The team we will be working with for the Stem Cell Transplant is going to be out of Denver Colorado. We will be working on disability however it is a process, since I can not work at the time.
