After my last update things took a turn for the worst. I spent the 20th to the 30th trying to keep food down and major nausea. My numbers stalled and I was started on a medication that is not covered so I had to apply to the manufacturer of this drug on compassionate grounds. They approved a 6 month supply and started it on the 1st of October. They are monitoring me closely and there is very slow movement, but at least it's in the right direction. There is also talk I may get released after 7 long weeks here at Princess Margaret Hospital. My main worry right now is a financial one. I have less than nineteen hundred dollars left in the go fund me. That will not get me far on this recovery journey. It's going to take months to recover and now I understand why they said it could be up to a year. My body is weak and exhausted beyond anything I have ever felt. But I am positive this will change once I can have real food. I am humbly asking for your continued support to help me recover.
