My name is Miranda Meldrum. I suffered a catastrophic brain haemorrhage aged only 13. I was then on a ventilator for 4 months with Locked In Syndrome. Lived the next 22 months of my young teenage life in Bristol children’s hospital. I have worked so incredibly hard to get where I am today. 5 years on. I am able to walk 100m with only a few stumbles. I am now also able to drink, eat & talk again. I learn fast & work extremely hard. But I now require input from the advanced neurorehabilitation robotics AiBLe program @ Hobbs in Bristol. At cost of £7,500 for a month of 4 hrs daily intensive therapy. I will need 2 months of this to finally get my life back.
