The Peak of Brandon Climb (PBC500)

A group of 5 consisting of Bomber (Diarmaid Aspel), Kieran Cummins, Cian Dowdall (Dublin), Luke Tennyson, and Rob Muldoon - are running up, down and around Brandon Hill for your entertainment and donations for great causes.

If you’re still reading, the longer story is that in recent times, many of us have been affected by the loss of close family and friends. And for a few years at this stage, we’d been harping on about running from Inistioge to Inistioge via a crossing of Brandon Hill. It was all merely pub talk until recently, when (through more pubtalk) we brought a bit of vision and a great name to the idea, hence PBC500. Combining that with some great causes, we thought there's no better reason to actually give it a go.

The course we've chosen is a 23km run with roughly 700 metres of elevation gain and a peak elevation of 515 at the top of Brandon Hill and we plan to do it on August 23rd, all going well.
