Hello, my name is Rich Salazar, and I have the honor of working with Mike at Reliable Towing and Recovery, LLC. I’m organizing this GoFundMe on behalf of Mike and his wife, Dolores, to support them during this challenging time.

Mike — a devoted husband, father of five, and proud grandfather to four beautiful grandbabies — recently suffered a sudden stroke. He was admitted to the hospital and is now in inpatient rehab, working hard every day to regain movement on his left side.

At this time, doctors aren’t sure how long Mike will need to remain in rehab. There’s also a possibility he’ll be moved to Albuquerque or Rio Rancho, as CHRISTUS was unable to provide a bed for him.

On the bright side, Mike has already made some progress — he’s regained movement in his face and can smile fully again. He has not gained any movement in his left arm. His determination and positive spirit continue to shine through.

Unfortunately, Mike is the main provider for is family and unable to work while he recovers. His wife Dolores, has used all of her annual and sick leave so she can be by his side and help care for him. This has created a financial strain during an already difficult time.

We’re asking for your help to support Mike and Dolores as they navigate this journey. Your donations will go toward medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and living expenses while Mike continues to heal. Any amount helps, and your prayers and encouragement mean the world.
