Dancing with the Burke Stars - Samantha Reid

Hello family & friends -

I am Samantha Allen Reid, daughter of Gerald and Stanlena Allen of Belle Farm. I graduated from Freedom High school in 1986 and have been a flight attendant for Delta Airlines since 1988. A whopping 34 years! That may make me sound old, but let me tell you … I am ready to dance and compete for the Mirror Ball trophy!

Morganton probably knows me best for my Airbnb, The Belle at Avery, the Sami and Dave band and my enjoyment of all things downtown Morganton! With the help of my son, Hunter, I chose Americas Gold Star Families for my charity. This organization supports families of fallen soldiers in war zones. I come from a long line of family in the military, including my son who is in special forces training in the Air Force, my nephew, Luke, who is a Marine, my brother, Jim, who retired as a career Command Sergeant Major in the Army and Grandfathers, Great Grandfather and so on dating back to the Civil War. This is incredibly important to me and a worthy cause to support our fallen heroes’ families.
