My wife and I are a mess right now. Bella, our 5-year-old Pomsky, has never had any health problems until now. (IMHA)

I had to move to Colorado from Kentucky for the military. At the time, my wife is back home in KY taking care of our puppers until she is able to move to CO with me.

On November 6th, my wife noticed Bella not eating and not as playful as usual. That afternoon, she then took Bella outside to go to the bathroom, and Bella fell to the ground. We just thought maybe she got clumsy.

On November 7th, my wife got up and decided to take Bella out for a car ride to get a pup cup from Starbucks (her favorite) and to walk around the pet supplies store to pick out a new toy. This was a day to spoil her and hopefully get her back to her happy self.
Later that evening, my wife went to take Bella outside, and Bella never made it outside before she collapsed to the floor.

At this point, we knew something was wrong! My wife rushed Bella to the vet. The vet informed us it looked as if Bella had gotten into rat poisoning, and in 24 hours she should be improved enough to go home.

November 8th came, the day to pick Bella up. My wife received a call while on her way to pick Bella up and was informed that Bella had not improved. Upon further bloodwork, the vet informed us that she had been diagnosed with Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA).

We will not give up on Bella. She is like a child to us. We have had her ever since she was a puppy. With moving to CO and not being there to comfort my wife and see Bella at the vet is devastating.

Money has been tight with all the moving and relocating. I’m not one to ask for handouts. We have taken out as much as we can to pay for her current vet expenses.
I had to set up CareCredit to cover what has been done so far with the overnight stays and all the bloodwork and IVs.

The vet is requesting that Bella stays for a while longer at the clinic until there are signs of improvement. Any amount would be appreciated.

Thank you for listening. Say a prayer for Bella. Please share if you can. Bella is our baby girl who we love unconditionally and will do anything and everything for.
