Back to Roper Spinal Rehab In-Patient we go!
Donation protected
On 11/23/2022, Jacquelyn injured herself while working as the Spa Manager for Hotel Bennett, causing her to rupture discs in her spine which caused severe nerve damage.
During her fall she also managed to fracture her teeth along the right side of her mouth and will now need dental surgery. Beyond the agonizing pain and tremors, she is unable to work or walk on her own and home health assistance is transitioning her back to in-patient therapy at Roper St. Francis as of February 6th.
The doctors have ultimately told Jacquelyn after her surgery to anticipate a recovery time of approximately one year.
Per the doctor's orders, she is anticipating no work for the remainder of the year due to an extremely vigorous rehabilitation plan, both in-patient and out-patient and adapting to a new environment with her children.
Jacquelyn is a single mother of 2 beautiful little girls, Charlie and Kennedy. As she currently has no source of income, she's in a terrible position having to not only take care of herself but her daughters as well. Recently factoring out all of her daily living expenses and what's needed to make it through the next 6 months + (not including legal fees, unexpected medical bills and any additional expenses to outfit her home to make it handicap accessible.) We are aiming for a goal of $75k. So far we have raised $14k and feel beyond blessed.
If you could please donate to help her and her family, it will be greatly appreciated. With the help of our community, we can relieve her of her bills so that she solely focuses on healing and returning to a new adaptable lifestyle as a single mother.
