Help Benny beat Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancer

My name is Jeremiah and I am asking for your help. This is a fundraiser for one of my best friends and little brother Benjamin Scottorosano aka 'Scott Baio' aka 'Little Benny Boy' who is presently fighting a war against Hodgkin's lymphoma cancer.

 

Benny and I first met in Monterey Ca, in 1996 when he was just a little grom with the greatest bowl cut a boy could have sitting on his skateboard bombing hill's. After graduating from high school in San Francisco, Benny came to visit me in Seattle to help out with some painting projects, he showed up at my door with a small backpack full of spray paint and his skateboard and he never looked back.

 

The boys and I pulled all our love together for over a decade, full of laughs and some tears - we taught him the trades from painting to carpentry to tile work and even the art of corralling kittens AKA Security also known as Bouncing .  As time continues so does Benny on his pursuit to capture his now and enjoy his journey. I've watched Benny learn how to snowboard, salsa dance, become pretty dangerouse in Jujitsu and ride a horse bareback in Panama and the list goes on... (But he's never beat me in ping pong, Ha) Our little brother, Benny, has overcome more adversity than most - from loosing both of his parents before he was a teenager to the present as he fights for his life battling Hodgkin's lymphoma.

 

The reason I am reaching out to the world is because Benny wouldn't do it himself, maybe it's pride? Maybe he doesn't want his business out there... either way here it is - I am asking for your help.

 

March of 2020 Benny became ill and shortly after was diagnosed with Cancer. 'Luckily' he was in Los Angeles and able to get some of the world's best health care, however, during this battle with Cancer he has lost the ability to use one of his legs. He now must use a  cane to get around and is in constant pain. He can not work due to his limited mobility and pain. 

 

The state of California is in such despair that he's having to hire a lawyer to get disability assistance- as everyone knows that doesn't cover life expenses - there's even a chance he might not get ANY assistance at all from the State of California! Makes no sense.

 

So I'm asking anyone who can - please lend a hand, any amount helps. Also PLEASE SHARE this GoFundMe link to as many people as you can!
