Hi all
As many of you who see this will know I am full time wheelchair user and a single mum to 2 amazing children. I currently have an adaptation on my chair which enables me to convert this to an electric chair, however because of the voltage of my current battery I am unable to take this on flights which would leave me with a manual chair. I want to be able to give my children the same opportunities their peers have without my disability holding them back. So this funding will go towards a lower voltage batter I have been reluctant to take them abroad because of the strain of having to use my manual chair would have on them and me. So I am asking if anyone would be willing to donate to support me in buying this battery. I have received a quote for this of £996. Any help is so gratefully appreciated by us as a family.
