Support Kyle's Fight Against Cancer

My name is Angela Tims, but if you are family, you may also know me as Riane. Earlier in 2024, my uncle, Kyle, was having moderate/severe pain in his hip. He visited his family doctor for help, who initially thought it was a pulled muscle. When there was no relief, Kyle decided to seek out an orthopedic doctor who then ordered an MRI. On August 7, when the imaging was complete, our family was informed that Kyle had actually fractured his hip, due to a large tumor present (internal melanoma). That same MRI also showed a tumor on his lower left lung and one inside his small intestines. He acquired an obstructed bowel and his medical team performed surgery to resect part and reconstruct the rest. Kyle then began radiation treatments, and after that, immunotherapy. However, after four months of immunotherapy, the original tumors have doubled in size and there have been multiple new tumors appear.

Kyle is a beloved son, brother, family member, and father to a beautiful daughter, Cali. My favorite memories of Kyle when I was younger involve him, my dad, and I sitting around playing music, singing, and him *trying* to teach me guitar. He is hardworking and kind, however, his extensive medical needs have now stolen his ability to work and provide for himself and his family. As our family continues to navigate this fight, we are asking for your help.
