My name is Jimmy and we're looking to raise £12,000 for mobility and disability aids for my daughter Tanith. Tanith was born with a condition called Closed spinal dysraphism with lipoma. Her spinal cord does not lie within her spinal column and instead protrudes out and is encased by her lipoma, which impacts her lower body functions due to tethering of her spinal cord. As she grows this causes lower body pain and now means she has no bowel or bladder function. Her condition requires a lot of support at home and is now getting to the point where she is needing a wheelchair to help her get out more and do the family activities she enjoys so I've decided to take on the UK three peaks challenge to raise funds to help get what she needs to give her the independence and freedom she deserves. She has tackled everything in her stride her whole life and done so with a smile and a ray of sunshine that spreads like wildfire whenever she is around so we are hoping everyone can share and donate whatever they can and we can reach the peak of this large goal and help her along her journey.
