Dayamani Joseph English Medium School

Hi everyone!

In January 2025 i’ll be heading back to Dayamani Joseph English medium school in Tenali, a rural town in southern India, to go and teach English to disadvantaged children most of who have lost one or both of their parents. After visiting the school in 2023, I fell in love with the school and am so excited to be going back. This school and orphanage runs entirely off of donations and as I’ve gotten to know these kids I’ve seen the great impact that generosity has on their success and futures!

DJEMS is a residential Pre K-8 school in Tenali, India, providing education to disadvantaged children with limited opportunities. Having volunteered at DJEMS in 2023, and with another trip planned for January 2025, I've witnessed the incredible spirits of these children who thrive in learning (in three languages), playing, creating, and dancing.

In 2023, the foundation rallied for a double-eye cataracts surgery for Joshua, resulting in a remarkable recovery and a newfound lease on life and education. Infrastructure improvements included the repair of the well for clean drinking water, along with general upkeep and maintenance of living spaces and enhanced security measures.

Every dollar donated goes directly to the children and funds their health, wellbeing and education. Please help me support these beautiful people.
