Northstar TKD - Taekwondo World Championships

We are looking to support 3 members of Northstar Taekwondo who will represent Ireland in the upcoming ITF Taekwondo World Championships in Finland in early September 2023.

Ms Sarah Reddin Conroy, Ms Alison Grealy and Mr Luke Tighe. All three hold multiple Irish National titles and all three have previously brought home medals from world and european competitions.

ITF Taekwondo is not currently a sponsored sport so athletes selected to compete as part of the Irish National Team at International level bear all the costs and expenses themselves. This is why we are asking for your support, with whatever amount you can....

Our target is €1500 to help our 3 athletes offset just a little of their costs. If we surpass our goal, those funds raised will be put towards any members of our club who are successful in being selected for future events. The next Irish team event will be the European Championships to be held in Lublin, Poland in April 2024. There is also a World Cup in 2024.
