Dear Friends,
I never imagined that I would find myself in this situation. I was just getting my life back together after years of medical treament and personal struggles. I had just landed what I thought was the job of my dreams until a change in management changed everything.
This is extrmely difficult to write and to share on a public forum but I am in need of assistance. I am reaching out because I lost my job and my company car three weeks ago on Monday, August 10, through no fault of my own, and am additionally at risk of being evicted from my apartment.
I applied for Ohio Unemployment and have yet to hear back; but even with the small amount for which I might qualify, it will not be enough to keep me in my apartment which is under a contractual lease agreement. I am also in need of funding to help pay for bills including utilities and medical expenses. That said, I have applied to over 125 positions so far and am desperately waiting to hear back if I've qualified for an interview. Even if I do move through all of the interview processes, jump through all of the necessary hoops, and am chosen for one of these positions, training for many of them do not begin until the end of September or October.
Anything that you are able to give on my behalf would be immensely appreicated. I promise that I will pay it forward or pay you back just as soon as I am able. I'm just not able to promise when this can take place since it's all dependent on the timeline of my next career opportunity. I cannot adequately express my thanks for your help during this extremley difficult and trying time in my life.
In light, love, and peace.
Jennifer Ellis
