D10 Southampton General Hospital

Hi my name is Claire I'm 49 years old and I suffer from a termal illness Cystic Fibrosis. I was told I wouldn't make teenage years .So as you can see I've been fighting along time and won't give up the battle for I have a beautiful Daughter who needs her Mumma . D10 is an infectious controlled ward in Southampton General Hospital .The reason why Cystic fibrosis patients are placed there is for our protection as we pick up all the nasty germs (we basically should live in space ! Lol.. ) As you can see I do have my very poorly times and even had a stay in ICU which was very scary . CF affects the whole body if you want to know more Google is the place . But my lungs are my worst problem as I find life hard now even a walk up my road is alot ! I have bottles of oxygen in my house but only wear it where no one knows me .. (I need to work on more confidence) I sleep with oxygen on for 8 hours a night every night .. so your getting a picture of my lungs their not my best friend .. I want to raise money for some new Tvs, stands that are on wheels and something just for the CF patients . All money will have recipes to show you .
