Helio is a 6yr. old boy that is energetic, playful and loving. He was just recently diagnosed with an extremely rare genetic disorder. Adrenoleukodystrophy, otherwise known as ALD, causes demyelination to the brain. A bone marrow transplant is the only treatment for this disorder. His life depends on it! This procedure will require him to be in the hospital for a minimum of 4 months and part of his family will have to relocate temporarily to be with him and take care of him. We are setting up this account to help alleviate some of the expenses that his family will incur while caring for Helio.
