3 years ago I moved to a new town and  met this wonderful woman and her family. She told me on the first day we met that she had breast cancer and she was going to beat it. 

 And she did!

Over the years I got to know her better and her two boys who are now 1st and 4th graders. She was always so vibrant, smiling with the biggest smile one had ever seen, and had such a positive outlook on life even during her treatments and surgery. During this time, her husband also lost his job. I never saw her have a bad day and she inspired me.

She has touched so many and would be the first one to help in any situation. She is a devoted wife and mother who adores her two boys. She attended St. Patrick's church and was an active volunteer in her sons' school and the Palmer Monson Family Network.

In the spring of 2014, she learned her cancer was back and it was terminal. There was nothing more the doctors could do for her.

The money raised through this campaign will go to help defray the cost of expenses and family needs.
