Bringing The Family Home

Our family is starting a Go Fund Me on behalf of Dylan, Alicia and Hailey, to help cover the cost of bringing their family pets home from South Korea. Few of us know that our US military personnel serving overseas have to face the tough decision to place their pets on standby for their flights home or pay exorbitant amounts of money to ship them prior to their departure from our foreign military installations. Family pets placed on standby often are abandoned at the airport because they are bumped from the flight at the last minute, leaving our military personnel no choice but to abandon them on a moment's notice. This is devastating for our military families and the outcome for the abandoned pets is dismal at best.

Family pets are a source of comfort and companionship for our military families, who make countless sacrifices for our freedom. It will cost approximately $5000 to ship Kylo and Ella back to the US from South Korea. Dylan and Alicia haven't asked for help from anyone, despite this being an extreme hardship on their young family. Kylo and Ella are part of their family and have made their 2-year stay in South Korea bearable. Our military personnel overseas have faced unimaginable challenges during COVID, beyond the everyday hardship of being isolated from family and friends. They have endured bare shelves like we have not seen in the continental US, constant lockdowns and isolation. Our family is passionate about supporting our military personnel and veterans, not just our children, but all of them in any way we can.

Our goal is to support our military family and help Dylan, Alicia, and Hailey bring Kylo and Ella home. We understand not everyone wishes to donate monetarily, and we ask that everyone reading this pray for the safe and speedy return of our kids to the US.
